My name is Fred Dasbach. However, my German birth certificate lists me as Fernando Luis Phillipe Dasbach, born March 16, 1923 in Hamburg.
The fact that I was born, I found out later, was called the greatest Gift for each human being. This Gift allowed you to be in joy and happiness each day of your Life, once you received what Socrates’ called the Knowledge of Self or True Self, imparted by the All-Knowledgeable One called Satgurudev or Great Soul.
Among the Great Souls listed are Ram, Krishna, Kabir, Ramakrishna, Confucius, Buddha, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Jesus, and Muhammad. Besides the current Satgurudev-Guru Maharaji, these are the former gurus whose company you should stay with to keep from being confused of Who You ARE.
I received the Knowledge 35 years ago and was able to take all my attention from the outside and turn it inward to be in touch with my Beloved or the immortal within me.
IF this is what you want, Maharaji flatly states that He can help YOU. For Him to help you, he instructs me, who have the Knowledge, to tell people like YOU that the burdens you carry with YOU each day is not actually necessary once you get rid of them and replace them with those things that are essential and vital to YOU.
Happiness is vital to YOU, not sorrow. Joy is vital to YOU, not suffering. Peace is vital to YOU, not war. Feeling is vital to YOU, not actual wealth. To Know right from wrong is vital to YOU, not doubt, disbelief, or confusion.

Left U.S. at age of 5 to live with my grandmother in Germany, where I stayed until Hitler came to power.
Returned to U.S. 1934, Jamaica, Queens, New York. Lived there ever since.
Joined the Navy November 1941.
Spent four years in the South Pacific aboard a destroyer and repair ship, from Guadalcanal to Buckner Bay, Okinawa.
Received five battle stars with oak leaf clusters.
Attended the following universities: Missouri, 1950-52 Bachelors degree in sociology. Washington, St. Louis, Mo., Master of Social Work (1952-54), Catholic University, Washington, D.C. DSW, Doctor of Social Work (1968-72)
Marriage: Divorced and remarried 1978. Two daughters, grown, each with child.
Career: Settlement houses, schools, retarded institution, and state care of foster children, supervisor and director of Social Work for Council of Churches of Greater Washington.
Civil Rights activist and sit-in demonstrator during Vietnam war protest. Arrested.
Highlight of my existence when I received the Knowledge of all knowledge on March 12, 1972. It changed my life forever.
