If 99.9% of the people are walking in the broad road of destruction, my message That Peace is Possible, the eternal joy is possible, that contentment and fulfillment plus prosperity is possible will have no meaning to them because they are not thirsty. It is like the guy in the desert crossing one sand dune after another to finally reach an oasis, where there was a guy on a camel with a big sword saying: Want to buy a black tie? No, responded the other in a crackling voice, I need water. He was asked several more times about buying a black tie before being told to go to the well 100 yards away, where there was another buy on a camel with a big sword asking: Without a black tie, you cannot drink from this water.
Plato said that we have to ask the right question to receive the right answer, but the Master says there is one more requirement: To address the right person, who can give you the right answer. Part of the solution is found in the scriptures: Seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you, ask and you will receive. The trouble with most people is they don’t know what to ask for: Wealth, Health or Wisdom.
Three people were stranded on a lonely island when one found a bottle, opened it, and a Genie appeared telling them they each could have a wish. One wanted to go back to London, the other to Sidney, and the third wished these two guys were back to help him make a choice. That is the trouble with choices unless you ask for every wish to come true.
The Master once told the story of a guy who chose wisdom, only to find out he should have chosen wealth.
