It works the same way by using the word Truth or trying to find the Essence of your Being, the Root Cause of your Innate Self, the yearning to be Free.

Therefore, the innate Right of every human being is the ability to discover what is Right:  His or her innate happiness.  Any survey of another’s behavior will without any unnecessary reflection  derive for them the wish to be Happy, which according to Socrates is related to the the expression of your True Self or Knowledge of Self: You are by origin a feeling machine that strives by various means to find as much joy in Life as possible.

Conflict arises once we try to derive where our state of being to be happy comes from.  Prem Rawat points out that the source of Happiness is Happiness.  Why?  Because it is your obligation to be happy not going to wars.  Going to wars is wrong or a sin. You will not find many who will agree with this description of Sin.

We are basically dealing with a highly evasive product related to our continuous suffering and its need for cessation according to Buddha through the Noble Eightfold Path: Right Understanding, Right Intention, Right Speech, Right action, Right livelihood, Right Effort, Right mindfulness, and Right Concentration.  When an individual follows the Noble Eightfold Path, he is eventually rewarded through a persistent effort to becoming Enlightened.  In Socratic language to be released of his bondage or suffering that tied him to the world of sense objects.

Being tied to sense-objects is best described in the Gita where where Krishna the charioteer talks to Arjuna, the king, what happens when we succumb to the temptations of this world.

Thinking about sense-objects, Will attach you to sense-objects, Grow attached and you will become addicted.  Thwart your addiction, it turns to anger; Be angry and you confuse the Mind, Confuse your Mind, and you forget your Lesson of experience; Forget experience and you will lose your discrimination, Lose your discrimination and you miss Life’s only purpose.

How are we to understand in  our modern technological world of noise and incessant bombardments of sense-objects distracting our attention that this is at all possible: Such as Right Concentration on a Right thing for the sake of being liberated from the suffering the Mind  introduces through the pain of birth, separation, decay, disease, and death.

Prem Rawat, who is better known by his honorary title Maharaji says we must feel the Truth in our Life since the Coming and going keep happening on the face of this earth.  Trillions have come; and trillions will go.  There’ll be newe problems, new things, old things.  There will be memories, memoirs, history.  There will be lies, and people want truth.

Of the approximate 100 people asked most of them felt this situation is impossible since our prisons and jails are presently full.  They all were convinced that because of our nature to distrust others, we would always need a military force to protect us from being invaded.  It was difficult for most people to envision a time we would turn our shield and sword into pruning hooks and plow shares and enjoy a thousand years of peace.

Augusta, Missouri, is a small farm town where people never locked their doors until visitors came from the city.  I am sure there are still many mid-western towns where folks are extremely honest. One of them near Jefferson, Missouri, Harry Truman’s neck of the woods, a minister needed a welding job on his car and stopped off.  The charge for the parts and labor for one hour was $1.69.  Something unheard of  even during the times the Berlin Wall still separated the East and West.

I grant You that the barriers we established for each other  are just as intense as the person who died from a heart attack listening to the World Series on the radio between the Dodgers and Yankees.  Things like this happens once we acquire attachments that keep us wedded to meaningless things.  Things that have no intrinsic value, just a host of fans/spectators.

Each football season the home team is greeted at the beginning of each game with the sound of music and cheers of victory, then on occasion booed when losing.  It is still the same team.  They each played their best to their ability.

Now if you did not care who won or lost, but enjoyed the game, would it not be better than dying of a heart attack?

Not us, we go on discussing the game between the Patriots and the Jets or Patriots and the Saints once the question is asked:  Who do You want to Win?  One year later, other teams take their place and some people will pay as much as $8000 for a ticket to see something that another person feels is not as interesting as golf or tennis.

It is no different than watching who won the Oscar or Emmy and you get to comment to others your own preferences.  It is like a dog chewing on a bone and tasting his own blood.  You get up each day and find yourself much too busy repeating the same thing you did the day before and the day before that.  Were you born to be a beast of burden like all the other animals who belong to the labor force?  Or, were you born to enjoy what you do?

No language school was needed.

It is different now, since we acquired responsibilities.

We looked with envy at the young, with no responsibility.  It started the day in kindergarten to sit and obey, but not go out and play.  And what does this have to do with Aimee, Anahi, Guy, or me?  We too wish to free.  To be simple once more, enjoy each day and abide by Life’s yearning.  But, how can this be, Aimee said, with too many responsibilities I don’t have time to eat lunch.  Then Aimee said I’ll take time  to read your web, by adding another responsibility.

This sweet soul with a deep  motherly  response, so uncommon these days, does upon reflection deserve the praise  of still maintaining her sanity.  It is bad enough we are drowning in the Sea of our own Illusion, which shuts our door to Heaven,  and the burden of  believes and ideas in this or that give added weight to our fall from Grace.

No, this is not all. Everyone, Aimee, Anahi, Guy, me and all are totally responsible for Living in Peace, Joy, and Happiness each day.  For this reason the grass is green and the sky is blue as the sunshine tells of its coming.  Enjoy this day, each day being a blessing  or else you will walk around in Ignorance of His Coming.  The One who says If Peace is what you want, I can help.  Otherwise keep walking.

Once you accept the fact  beyond your ideas and  beliefs, there is your Imagination to assume anything you want, even your own Heaven and Hell.  It was not like this at birth at all,  nor when the end is coming.  A time when everything disappears that once had a beginning.

So Aimee, Anahi, and Guy; there is but one Certainty, the Moment called NOW to be Free.

Why our insistence that we all pray in the same temple, and those who do not, brand them heathens–non-believers, or idolaters, when people of the same religion and belief sit together and order different food and drink.   It is not under these circumstances, we would engage in a holy war, but offer our protection and assurance of those sharing our tent.

We have engaged in religious wars for thousands of years and not found permanent peace.  Forgetting our human quest to  live in  harmony and peace with one another can only begin when the individual is at peace with himself and His God.

To address this dilemma that had left the battlefields strewn with the  dead and wounded, The Most Holy of the time asked the carriers of water Give them water.  One gave them all water, the other only of his own religion.  When will we ever learn that peace on Earth will only happy, when we concentrate on our similarities not our differences.

So, what we are left with is a  series of formulas, without addressing the question:  Who are You or what Socrates referred to as Knowledge of the Self.

Socrates added a more penetrating comment by stating An unexamined Life is not worth living.  In plain words, if we do no more  than other animals: eat, shit, sleep, and eat some more; we have accomplished were little in terms of our evolutionary progress to becoming complete or whole.

This fact alone has attributed to our inability to get along with each other:  To appreciate the numerous similarities we have in wanting to be happy and live in peace and harmony together.

What prevents us from living together in in peace and harmony is our insistence on concentrating on our differences.

Remember, darkness is due to the absence of light.  Replace the darkness with light, and the Sunshine will automatically remove the darkness.  In a similar fashion, wisdom removes ignorance. love replaces hate, and joy replaces sadness.

Those who enjoy Life, happiness, peace and love are Never attracted to the numerous problems that are associated with things refusing to go our way.  Why? For the same reason that our WAY of doing things becomes more complicated not simple.

For example, the rewards we seek are directly related to our feelings not thoughts.  Thoughts in themselves are a poor substitute for quenching our thirst.  We need Water.  For our hunger, we need food.

By what means an eagle his wings does spread or the hawk his prey does spy.  Are these not wonders to behold as you journey forth in Fairyland.

Would we forever live in the shadows of  our own dreams until Life is spent, never tasting the sweet wine meant for US!  Surely this symbol of our  madness is best shown when the crosses stand row on row for those who died on foreign lands to preserve our peace at home.

We try over the countless years to govern tine, without success.  We have made it possible over the centuries to arrive at a point in our Life where you uttered the wrong word and were guillotined in France.  Two hundred and forty thousand heads were guillotined in one city  alone, and it was not Paris. It took a young artillery office eventually to stabilize  the senseless killing by keeping the British out of France and defeating the Italian forces.

How long you will live is totally dependent on how well disciplined you are, how conscious you are, and how much you are enjoying  this GIFT called Life.

Sit for a minute each day, after arising and express your sincere gratitude for being able to Breathe without the aide  of a respirator. Try it for at least 22 days and ask each time where the Breath comes from and goes.

When it came to fulfilling his Life, Napoleon saw the tri-colors of France flying above the Capitols of Europe, NEVER spending his last days on a remote island off the shore of Africa writing his memoirs in fear of eventually being forgotten.

He was not aware that the  ashes of this military genius of all times (Wikipedia)  would one day rest under the dome of Les Invalides  and attract millions of visitors to Paris over the years.  Next to his tomb, there was a museum  where they had hung the flags of other nations he had conquered, totally moth eaten.  It was quite a sight for me to see over 40 years ago.

Since General Douglas MacArthur thought he was no less deserving than Napoleon, he decided he too should be buried in a tomb also.  However, it never attracted the number of visitors as Napoleon’s site and maybe more than Grant,s tomb.

What is the use of being buried next to Juliet if you can’t talk to her?   And for the feuding families to find out that these star-crossed teen agers were the result of their family biases?

Today, it is kinda silly to pay for an ad that states in a newspaper HAPPY BIRTHDAY George on Your 25th Birthday. Neither can he hear You nor smell the flowers you laid on his grave anymore.

Mount Armageddon is the site of an epic battle associated with the end time prophecies of the Abrahamic religions. A continuation of this interpretation is associated with the Messiah (Jesus) returning to earth, opposing Satan and put him in a bottomless pit or abyss for a 1,000 years, etc., etc., etc.  (Wikipedia Press)

With few exceptions, when you read this stuff, you immediately get turned off, because it sounds corny due to its constant repetition over the last 2000 years and nothing  happening that comes close to Jerusalem, the holy city, being surrounded by Satan’s forces as referred to in Gog and Magog (peoples of two specific nations).

So what happens?  You are left with your own interpretation or to simply ignore it.  I would not advise ignoring it, simply because it doesn’t  make sense to YOU.  A lot of things don’t make sense and some things do.  Al Gore, for example, is spending a lot of time talking to people about the climatic changes since our ozone layer was broken up through the heated gases from our exhaust systems of cars.

The ice caps in the North and South pole are breaking up earlier.  An indication if this continues people in New York will drown as the flood waters begin to rise.

If these warnings are not heeded by curtailing the use of our autos and massive transportation system and finding another way, predictions have been associated with our demise as close as 2030.  Why?  You will be living in a beautiful home without air.

Remember, the two greatest nations—China and India are slowly but surely clogging their streets, causing massive traffic jams.

You don’t need scientific facts to tell you that we are not very bright, when according to the famous psychiatrist Karl Menninger he was alleged to comment: “Next to the rat, we are the only other animal who destroys his own habitat.”

If the future could not be changed by our conduct, what use is HOPE?  Misers could not balance their greed with charity.

Furthermore, our personal vexations with our own religion would not have the Archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Church if England, believe Britain has become an atheist society.

After all, we were given freedom of choice and the ability to change our mind anytime we thought necessary, except when it comes to taxes and our Bill of Rights.  This is why people go to the Civil Courts to apply for a divorce and set up an International Tribunal to hold the Nazi regime accountable for its inconceivable holocaust, imprisonments, and deaths.

Deaths that to each imprisoned was their own Armageddon.

Strange as it may seem, our attitude for thousands of years is still the same:  To knock some sense into those who oppose you, in your jealous rage just pick up the nearest rock and kill the guy by crushing his skull.  It is the quickest way to settle an argument.

And all this happens because we think our planet was settled by creatures from outer-space, aliens, or E-Ts beings; much smarter than us.  We even made several movies about them and what they are supposed to look like before they were killed by our germs.

Forty years ago I talked to a fellow, who claimed he and his sons boarded an alien space ship outside of El Paso, Texas.  Okay! When I was three years old, I liked  a chocolate ice cream cone.  If you gave me one on an empty stomach now, I probably would not eat it.

Try not to make sense of what you do, it will just become more confusing, like figuring out what all these biblical sayings by Daniel mean to you TODAY—I mean about the statue of gold, silver, iron, and clay, which was destroyed by a rock not touched by human hands (Nuclear multi-headed bomb).

It is in those latter days that a King will come to establish his kingdom among other kingdoms and destroy them.  It is in process NOW.
